How can I set up my roadrunner email account?

Because of Roadrunner webmail service popularity now, users can access it on operating systems like Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. In addition to this factor, you can also set up your account with any email service of your choice. Two of the most well-known options for accessing Roadrunner email accounts are Outlook and Gmail. But first, you must have an account with the roadrunner webmail service. So, if you haven’t created it yet, then please create one now. After doing so, you can set up your account.

Also, before setting up your account, make sure to have a good internet connection to avoid errors during the setup. A lousy internet connection can cause you to do the whole setup again.

Follow these steps to set up your roadrunner email account-

  • Open an email app or a web browser to open an email service such as Gmail. You can use a smartphone or a computer, or any other device of your convenience.
  • After opening the email service, check for the Add Account option.
  • Once you find the Add Account option, click on it to add your roadrunner account for the setup process.
  • Then you need to enter your valid username and password associated with your roadrunner account.
  • Now you have to choose the setup method. You can either choose the Automatic Setup or the Manual setup option.

Note- If you choose Automatic set up for your email account, all the settings will be done by the email service itself. However, if you select the Manual setup option, you have to set up your account type with one of the protocols, such as POP3 or IMAP. Both of these protocols offer different kinds of benefits so that you can choose accordingly.

·       By choosing the Automatic setup option, certainly, you are done with setting up your account. Now you can sign out of the email account and then log in again. But if you want to configure your account manually, select Manual setup and follow these instructions-

These are the settings to set up the incoming and outgoing servers     for a roadrunner user account.

Follow these settings for POP3 service-

·         Incoming server- pop-server.region.rr.com

·         Port Number for incoming server- 110

·         Outgoing mail server- pop-server.region.rr.com

·         Port Number for outgoing server- 587

Follow these settings for IMAP service-

·         Security type- TLS

·         Outgoing mail server- mail.twc.com

·         Port Number for outgoing server- 587

·        After selecting your account type and its settings, click Next and then Save the settings to finish the setup.

·        Lastly, sign out of your account and then log in again.

With this, you have completed the setup for your email account.

·        A user can use it for professional as well as personal use.

·        It is one of the most popular emails services in the United States.

Also, it offers an exemplary user interface. It is easy to set up and use. But, if you face any problem with the setup, you can close the email web portal or whatever app you are using to access the Roadrunner email account. And then redo the whole process again.
